Vegan Foods PACKED with Protein

Protein plays a huge part in the vegan lifestyle, simply because you should be conscious about it every day. Protein is so important for human function and has such a big stigma around in veganism, we HAVE to act on it and be conscious about it.

Personally, I go on about 90g of protein a day which is more than enough for my size. I am currently trying to bulk up even more so I added some extra protein to the required amount. I advise you to do the same if you are trying to bulk up some extra muscle too.

I’m going to tell you guys some foods that I eat on a day-to-day basis (that are vegan) that I’d recommend to all vegans needing some better ways to find protein.

Protein per FDA serving:

Breakfast Foods:

  • Oatmeal (5g)
  • Chia seeds (add to oatmeal, cereal, toast, or anything for that matter) (2g)
  • Clif bar (If I’m in a hurry) (9g)
  • Toast w/peanut butter (12g)
  • Banana w/peanut butter (9g)
  • Protein shake (Also if I’m in a hurry) (20g)
  • Vegan Yogurt w/oats (9g)

Lunch Foods:

  • PB/J (if I’m in a hurry) (12g)
  • Clif bar (If I’m in a hurry) (9g)
  • Protein shake (Also if I’m in a hurry) (20g)
  • Home-made Chick Pea burgers (find recipe online) (12g)
  • Spaghetti w/Chick Peas(22g)
  • Chick Peas w/ spaghetti Sauce (don’t worry it’s actually good for how quick you can make it w/whole can) (18g)

Dinner Foods:

  • Bean Tacos (13g per taco)
  • Tofu (12g)
  • Peas (5g)
  • Seitan (21g)
  • Sides of Beans (6g)
  • Quinoa (8g)
  • Edamame (16g)

Snacks:

  • Clif Bar (9g)
  • Bananas (2g)
  • Protein shake (20g)
  • Nuts (5g)

Along with this I want to let you all know about my personal favorite protein powder that I use on a day-to-day basis, which is Vega protein.
